TRAIND collects information to provide a seamless fitness tracking and coaching experience. We collect:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, profile picture, and authentication credentials via Firebase Authentication and Google Sign-In.
  • Health & Fitness Data: Workout logs, sets, reps, weight lifted, fitness goals, and physical attributes provided by you or your coach.
  • Communications: Messages, feedback, and notes exchanged between coaches and trainees within the app.
  • Device & Usage Data: Analytics on how you use the app, device type, operating system, and crash reports (collected via Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the TRAIND platform.
  • Enable coach-trainee connectivity, allowing coaches to view your progress, assign workouts, and provide feedback.
  • Sync your fitness data securely across devices via Google Cloud Firestore.
  • Improve our app functionality, safety, and resolve technical issues.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Your privacy is paramount. We do not sell your personal or health data. Data is shared only in the following circumstances:

  • With Your Coach: If you link your account to a coach, they will have access to your fitness data and progress logs to provide coaching services.
  • Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services (e.g., Google Cloud/Firebase) strictly for hosting, authentication, and database infrastructure.
  • Legal Compliance: If required by law, regulation, or legal process.

4. Data Security

We implement robust security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, provided by our infrastructure partners (Google Firebase). However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights & Choices

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information. You can delete your account and all associated health data directly within the TRAIND app settings, or by contacting our support team. Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed from our active databases.

6. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
